Ocean Reef Cottages

Our new community began development in 2022 and construction is nearly 100% complete.  The community is all beachy, coastal themed and it is managed by a very dedicated HOA team.  You can always expect the aesthetics of our community to explempify a higher end look and feel. 

Many of the homes in our community are airbnb type homes but we also have a growing community of people who live here full time. If I could, I certainly would too. One of the reasons I chose to build a home in Ocean Reef is due to its ideal location.  We are just 2 miles from Paradise Key and Cove Harbor, just 7 minutes from Conn Brown Harbor, only 10 minutes to Aransas Pass and just 4 minutes from all things Rockport.

Community Ammenities & Rules

Pool Information

Hours of Operation: 7am – 9pm.
The pool does not have a lifeguard, swimming is at your own risk. A guest 18 years of age or older must be present at all times. An adult must accompany any child under 14 at all times. Pool is for owners and owners guests only.  

Swim diapers must be worn by children who have not been potty trained. Proper swimwear is required. No cut-off shorts.

No running, horseplay or disorderly conduct is allowed.

Boat Wash

The boat wash is located in front of the pool area, on the main road.  This is available for all guests but it is reserved for boats only.  No car washing is permitted.

Parking

Guests have ample parking space at our home and should not use the community parking spaces near the pool or park in the roads.  No parking on any grass is permitted. Our community does not allow any guest to park a commercial vehicle such as utility truck or an 18-wheeler.

Common Courtesy

Please be mindful of others around you and aware of the preferred quiet times after 10pm and before 6am.

Community Safety & Surrounding Water

Please know that our community is very  safe, well-lit and we have never had any concerns.  With that said, please always be aware of your surroundings when traveling.  Additionally, we live within just a short walking distance, short as in a few hundred yards, to Aransas Bay.  We also have a pond behind the house and the pool in front of the house. We are surrounded by water. Please always make sure children are within eyesight of you as there is no barrier that prevents them from getting into the bay or the pond behind us.  The pool does have a gate however it is not locked during operating hours.
