Downtown Rockport, TX is home to a variety of art galleries that feature the works of local artists. The Wind Way Gallery features the art mediums of textiles, jewelry, stained glass, and paintings. Stop in to admire the works or even take part in an art class!
The Rockport Gallery can also be found in historic downtown Rockport and displays pieces from Texas artists. Visitors can view the original works on canvas, metal, paper, as well as stained glass, and many more. Pick up a piece of handmaid soap to take home with you!
From boutiques, antiques, and vintage goods to art galleries and home decor shops, there is something for everyone.
HOST TIP: If you love to fish, and you are driving through Victoria on your way and you find yourself in that area during their business hours, you should do yourself a favor and stop in at Waterloo Rod Company. Best people, best store. Period.
While not in downtown, Tackle Town is your one stop shop for everything from fishing to hunting, to outdoor clothing, sunglasses, ammunition, and more. They are wonderful people, locally owned, and this is hands down, my favorite store in Rockport. Check them out here.

Mermaid Ranch
Arguably one of the cutest, niche boutique type stores you will find in rockport. Their name says it all as the store features a unique selection of all things coastal with a 90% emphasis on mermaids. Great gift shop with something for everyone. Rowdy Maui
Hands down, the most unique shopping experience you will have in Rockport. Are you an 80’s/90’s baby and love all the things from the decades? Then trust me, just go. You won’t leave empty handed. Goin' Coastal Outfitters
This is THE store for all your t-shirt dreams. AND they have a huge selection of trending clothes and footwear from the top brands, for all ages, genders, and sizes. And if that is something you are NOT into, you might want to stop in for a good ol’ fashioned soda fountain drink or shaved ice or iced coffee. They do have a website but you should check out their social media for the latest and greatest!
Seashell Shoppe
The name of the store says it all. But what many don’t know, is this store is still locally owned and operated by Rockport locals…and it’s going on 80 YEARS!! This store has seen the best and the worst, rebuilt after Hurricane Harvey and it is a must to stop by. This is another great place for fun selfies and pictures of your group.
